iphone no more

//vest, bangkok//top, bardot//skirt, unknown//booties, thrifted//socks, myer//bag, chloe knock-off//

I'm finally assignment free for the rest of the week and can't wait to check out all of your updates.
Alas, I had a little hiccup on the weekend after a few too many
(not a big drinker, hence the results)...
Ended up losing my iphone when I was out, with no insurance and no memory of where I last had it.
Gahhh, such is life.

Anyway, I do hope you all had a wonderful weekend
:D

erin wasson x RVCA

style.com

A bit late on the bandwagon with this collection but AMAZING!
This is how I want to be all winter: light yet mysterious, clean, sexy, and intellectual, maybe like I've just walked out of an exclusive jazz club.
A girl can dream, right?

Just a quick outfit animation and message to say that I will be checking out all of your blogs as soon as I can.
I truly miss reading your blogs.
Unfortunately Uni is a workload bully and wont let me. Please don't think I have forgotten you.
Lots of love.

I love MYER sales.
These precious Steve Madden heels were $129.95 marked down to $65.00
BARGAIN!
Holy Hufflepuff, what was that?
A one day special of an extra 75% off?!
I scored these babies for $16.25 and walked out of MYER feeling like I was walking on clouds.
Did I mention I love MYER sales?

cat eye

Lately I've had a penchant for subtle cat eye makeup by day. I've been trying to master the look for years, but to get that perfect flick has proven a tedious task. The dearest Alexa Chung has the look down to a science. She has admittedly been my latest influence to revisit the days of trying to curve that flick as carefully as possible.
My attempt at a subtle cat eye for a day time look.

g'day sheila

tfs

I've always admired Sheila Marquez on the runway. She's one of those models with the rare ability to make anything look good as she struts her stuff, despite the worn garment's ludicrous necessity or wearability. But what I love most about her is her cute, yet fashion-forward sense of style off the runway.

I love these candids I came across recently because I can relate to this outfit. It's not overloaded with flashy branding, commonly coveted trends and only black (although I love that too; cue leather jacket and thigh-high boots please!).
I like that she's thrown on a beanie, a few soft hued layers, added minimal accessories and chosen one current trend as the key focus to her outfit:
sheer patterned stockings.

A very wearable outfit, in my opinion.
